Role Overview
The SVP Technology will lead the design and execution of a high-performing technology environment that supports ultra-luxury guest experiences, operational effectiveness, and differentiation across the Group’s international portfolio.
As part of the extended executive leadership group, this role will steer the modernization and transformation of the Technology function so it becomes a strategic driver of performance, personalization, and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve the full digital guest journey across all properties.
- Maintain smooth connectivity between PMS, CRM, revenue, POS, and guest-facing solutions.
- Support data-led personalization and service delivery aligned with luxury brand expectations.
- Promote innovation in guest engagement, mobile services, and experience-based technologies.
- Create and implement a future-focused technology roadmap that reflects brand and ownership priorities.
- Set and align technology standards across corporate and hotel operations worldwide.
- Oversee investment governance and ensure measurable value from all technology initiatives.
- Upgrade infrastructure across corporate and hotel settings using cloud-first and resilient architecture principles.
- Manage core enterprise and hospitality applications.
- Simplify and standardize the global application environment while retaining flexibility at property level.
- Build enterprise-wide governance and stronger advanced analytics capabilities.
- Use predictive analytics and AI to improve revenue, operations, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure strong cybersecurity measures to protect guest data and brand information.
- Raise IT service delivery standards across the global hotel network.
- Introduce clear SLAs, KPIs, and governance for performance management.
- Strengthen relationships with vendors and improve strategic sourcing approaches.
- Redesign the global Technology operating model.
- Reshape team structure and capability to suit a premium hospitality environment.
- Embed a service-led, performance-focused culture within IT.
- Drive digital transformation across corporate and hotel functions.
- Lead change management across a geographically distributed organization.
