Role Overview

This contract role is for a video editing specialist supporting a client’s digital content needs. The position is fully remote and open to candidates working from anywhere. You’ll shape raw footage into polished videos that align with brand expectations and platform standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transform unedited footage into refined, engaging videos ready for online distribution.
Keep the final output aligned with brand guidelines and the technical needs of each platform.
Work with content creators to strengthen the story and flow through careful editing.
Use color correction, audio cleanup, and motion graphics where needed to improve the final cut.
Complete assigned edits on time while preserving accuracy and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
Solid grasp of editing fundamentals such as pacing, continuity, and visual rhythm.
Ability to handle color work, audio balancing, and graphic/text overlays.
Comfort interpreting creative briefs and incorporating feedback into revised edits.
Understanding of formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and compression requirements for digital delivery.
Strong eye for detail when spotting sync issues, glitches, or other technical problems.
Experience using remote collaboration and file-sharing tools.
Awareness of current digital video trends and platform-specific best practices.

Compensation

The payout for this contract assignment is USD 15 to 40 per hour.
