About the teamThe Human Resources and People Strategy function at Navi oversees the complete employee journey. Its work spans hiring, HR operations, employee engagement, and development, while partnering with both technical and non-technical teams to attract, retain, and grow strong talent in a high-performance environment.Role overviewIn this position, you will lead recruitment efforts as an Associate Manager and help deliver on business-critical hiring requirements. The job involves managing the full recruitment process, handling complex hiring situations, and serving as a dependable advisor to business stakeholders. At times, you may also be expected to operate as an individual contributor to close urgent or important roles. Strong leadership, hands-on execution, business understanding, and confident communication with candidates, peers, and senior leaders are key to success.Key responsibilitiesManage, coach, and guide a team of recruiters by setting goals, reviewing progress, and ensuring accountability against hiring targets.Drive the complete recruitment workflow, including job description creation, sourcing strategy, interviews, interview debriefs, and negotiation of offers, while stepping in directly when needed to achieve outcomes.Support proactive talent sourcing through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and direct search methods, while helping build candidate pipelines for current and future requirements.Work closely with business and functional leaders to understand hiring needs, provide consultative guidance, and align recruitment plans with business priorities.Promote a smooth and engaging candidate journey by setting clear standards for communication and interaction across the team.Track recruiter performance through ATS tools and hiring dashboards, share insights with leadership, and use data to improve sourcing quality and reduce turnaround time.Stay informed about market hiring trends, competitor strategies, and compensation patterns so you can share useful intelligence with stakeholders.Oversee pre-joining activities, background verification, and onboarding coordination to ensure new hires experience a seamless transition.Improve recruitment processes, strengthen employer branding efforts, and mentor junior recruiters to raise capability within the talent acquisition team.Must-have requirementsA graduate or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, advanced sourcing methods, recruitment analytics, and candidate data handling.Excellent written and verbal communication, strong relationship-building ability, a consultative problem-solving mindset, good organization, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.A proactive, ownership-oriented, and leadership-driven approach, with the ability to adapt to shifting business needs and stay current with changes in the talent market.At least 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, including exposure to leading, coaching, or mentoring recruiters, preferably in fast-growing environments such as startups, e-commerce, or BFSI.About NaviNavi aims to make finance simple, accessible, and affordable for one billion Indians.
