About the internship
This remote internship focuses on business development and sales support for Timbre. The role involves reaching out to prospective customers and partners, assessing lead quality, coordinating demos, and keeping the sales process organized.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers, agencies, studios, creators, and other business contacts to introduce Timbre.
- Evaluate leads by checking their interest, business needs, budget, and chances of adopting the product.
- Keep a daily log of outbound calls, replies, follow-up status, and demo or meeting results.
- Continue conversations with interested prospects through phone, WhatsApp, email, or LinkedIn.
- Arrange product demo calls and qualified meetings for the founder or sales team.
- Investigate potential prospects such as video editing agencies, marketing agencies, podcast studios, creators, and content teams.
- Provide daily progress updates covering call activity, lead quality, objections, and next steps.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open only to applicants who can work from home, can begin between 20 June 2026 and 25 July 2026, are available for a 6-month duration, and have relevant skills and interest in the role.
Requirements
- Comfort and confidence in making cold calls and speaking with new people every day.
- Good spoken English and Hindi communication skills are preferred.
- Prior exposure to sales, telecalling, lead generation, customer support, or business development will be an advantage.
- Interest in startups, AI tools, video editing, the creator economy, or social media marketing is preferred.
- Ability to stay disciplined with follow-ups and use Google Sheets or CRM tools comfortably.
Stipend and structure
The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 20,000 to 40,000. The stipend is structured as fixed pay of INR 10,000 to 20,000 per month plus incentive pay of INR 10,000 to 20,000 per month.
