Role Overview
This position sits within Infosys Quality Engineering and is based in Pune, India. The role is centered on automation testing and quality assurance for technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Work with client teams on quality assurance, issue handling, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Review requirements, assess designs, validate architecture, and support strong service delivery in technology programs.
- Contribute to effort estimation, solution delivery inputs, technical risk planning, code reviews, and unit test plan reviews.
- Guide teams toward producing efficient, high-quality deliverables while following organizational standards and processes.
- Help build reliable systems and support clients in their digital transformation initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge across multiple technologies where needed.
- Use core architecture and design fundamentals effectively.
- Work with testing tools and agile practices.
- Understand project lifecycle activities in both development and support work.
- Be familiar with estimation methods and quality processes.
- Use basic business-domain understanding to interpret requirements.
- Bring strong analytical thinking, technical capability, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate sound awareness of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and modelling methods.
- Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends.
- Show strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Technical Requirements
- Automation testing experience with Selenium and Java.
Educational Requirements
Eligible educational backgrounds include B.E., B.Tech, B.C.A., B.Sc., M.Sc., M.C.A., and M.Tech.
