Role Overview
The Car Evaluation Engineer will inspect vehicles, spot issues, and prepare clear assessment reports to support repair or rejection decisions. The position requires hands-on evaluation of vehicle condition, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicles carefully to find defects, damage, and general wear and tear, then prepare detailed findings with repair or rejection recommendations.
- Document all work carried out on each vehicle, including photos and other supporting records.
- Follow company standards and procedures related to inspection, testing, evaluation, and reporting.
- Perform complete vehicle checks and tests to judge overall condition, quality, and performance.
Candidate Profile
- The role is suited to candidates with 1 to 6 years of experience in automobile service, especially vehicle evaluation or inspection.
- Applicants should have an ITI certificate in any specialization or a diploma in any specialization.
- Knowledge of automobiles will be an advantage.
- A solid grasp of four-wheeler and two-wheeler mechanics is important, along with the ability to quickly identify technical problems.
