Overview

This role is for a Care Assistant based in Trowse, in Norwich city centre. You will support people in their own homes, delivering practical care in a way that protects their dignity, respects their personal choices, and helps them stay independent for as long as possible. The work involves visiting customers at home and carrying out agreed day-to-day support tasks.

The support provided is intended to be similar to the kind of help a family member might reasonably give, such as assistance with personal care or household tasks.

Pay and working hours

The advertised pay is up to £15.00 per hour, with additional mileage payment and travel time included. Travel time is paid at £9.50 per hour, and mileage is paid at 25p per mile. Shift times are listed as either 07:00-14:00 or 15:00-22:00.

Additional pay enhancements apply for Bank Holidays. A £200 joining bonus, MOT payment, £100 attendance bonus, and £200 refer-a-friend bonus are also mentioned, subject to terms and conditions.
