Virtue Integrated Care, through Craddock House Nursing Home in Naas, County Kildare, is hiring Kitchen Assistants for a full-time, on-site position. The right person should be adaptable and available to work both weekdays and weekends when needed.

Key duties
- Help prepare meals, snacks, and food items for residents as directed by the Chef and Person in Charge.
- Deliver meals to the households and support meal service within the homes.
- Store stock correctly, including labelling, covering, and putting food away safely.
- Wash kitchen equipment and keep kitchen, cooking, and storage areas clean, organised, and hygienic in line with cleaning schedules.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties that match the needs of the role.
- Work in a resident-focused way while following Craddock House Nursing Home policies and procedures.
- Protect privacy and dignity and maintain confidentiality in a warm, home-like setting.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider team while recognising the strengths and abilities of others.
- Support the Cook in providing resident meals while maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.
- Complete daily kitchen cleaning and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Follow the Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times.
- Attend training sessions, courses, and meetings on-site or off-site when required.
