Role Summary
The Chief Operating Officer will lead daily business operations and make sure services are delivered smoothly and effectively. This remote, full-time leadership role is responsible for aligning operations with company strategy, guiding cross-functional teams, and improving processes to support long-term growth. The position works closely with senior leadership on business planning, financial performance, risk oversight, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
The COO will create and track operational plans, oversee performance management efforts, and introduce stronger practices for project execution and resource use. The role also includes setting clear KPIs, reviewing operating outcomes, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring a strong operations management background, with hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams and improving processes. A solid track record in business planning, including strategy creation, execution, and performance measurement, is important. The role calls for advanced analytical ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and support operational and strategic decisions. Candidates should also have a strong grasp of finance and budgeting to control costs, forecast revenue, and contribute to sustainable growth. Leadership, mentoring, coaching, and change management experience are essential, along with strong communication and collaboration skills suited to a remote setting. Experience in a digital services, technology, or consulting environment is considered a strong advantage.
