About the role

This position is focused on leading sales for the Applied Chiller segment. The role involves growing and protecting the customer base, coordinating frontline sales activity, and driving business growth through strategic market engagement.

Sales and market development

  • Create new business opportunities by engaging with consultants, customers, and contractors, including meetings with chief engineers in hotels and structured call cycles with consultants.
  • Recommend the most appropriate product selection based on project needs such as heat load, customer budget, and BOQ requirements.
  • Draft commercial quotations using the available technical and pricing inputs, including equipment capacity and applicable discounts.
  • Work toward achieving assigned sales targets.
  • Support large tender opportunities by positioning the distinctive strengths of DAIKIN products in the specification process.

Sales support and coordination

  • Manage customer enquiries from first contact through resolution.
  • Oversee timely completion of the order processing workflow, including factory coordination, payment follow-up, and collection of required documents.
  • Work with service engineers to ensure smooth installation and commissioning of chillers.

Dealer and channel management

  • Expand the dealer network by strengthening existing relationships and appointing new dealers where needed.
  • Communicate company policies, commercial schemes, and channel updates clearly to dealers.

Market intelligence and training

  • Regularly interact with customers and dealers to collect market insights such as competitor pricing, machine efficiency trends, and new product developments.
  • Deliver technical and behavioural training to dealers, including product knowledge and sales pitch guidance.
