Class 2 Driver

Role Overview

This is a long-term Class 2 driving position based in Taupo, Waikato, New Zealand. The role involves 40 hours of work each week and focuses on the safe delivery of gas bottles, vehicle operation, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport gas cylinders to customer locations in a safe and reliable manner.
• Carry out stock counts and compliance-related checks with accuracy.
• Represent the business with a courteous, professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Drive tanker and bottle trucks as needed for day-to-day operations.

What You Need

• A valid New Zealand Class 2 driver licence with a clean driving history.
• Confidence driving manual transmission vehicles.
• At least 2 years of experience operating Class 1 or higher vehicles within New Zealand.
• The ability to work on your own and manage time well.
• Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
• Dependable transport and a strong record of being on time.
• A forklift licence and Dangerous Goods endorsement are beneficial, and training may be available.
