Construction Estimator

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a residential and commercial construction estimator working fully remotely. The hiring team is partnering with a major general contractor in Florida that has a strong focus on residential work and is expanding further into commercial projects.

The compensation package is positioned at $70,000 to $90,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits and a long-term growth path.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate the quantities of materials needed for construction or related manufacturing projects using estimating software such as Planswift.
• Study construction drawings and project documentation, and coordinate with relevant professionals to deliver accurate, high-quality estimates.
• Take part in daily internal planning and workload discussions, as well as weekly meetings focused on company goals.
• At times, travel to job sites to collaborate with the field team and help achieve the best possible assemblies and outcomes.
• Use and become proficient in proprietary scheduling and communication systems.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management, though it is not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Exposure to residential construction, operational workflows, and software-based systems will be an added advantage.
• The role calls for someone who can handle multiple priorities while staying organized and focused.
• You should be able to work with both urgency and attention to quality.
