Custodian

Role Overview

This position is responsible for keeping the facility clean, organized, and safe while supporting day-to-day housekeeping needs across work areas, offices, and shared spaces. The role requires the ability to complete all core duties with or without reasonable accommodation, and reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Key Duties

• Maintain clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming as needed.
• Clean production and support equipment such as machines, mixers, table racks, conveyors, dishes, and refrigerators.
• Assist EH&S with organizing chemical storage.
• Dust office furniture and wipe down desks.
• Clean restrooms and break areas thoroughly.
• Keep bathrooms and breakrooms stocked with required supplies.
• Empty trash bins and recycling containers.
• Strip, clean, buff, and seal floors; shampoo carpets when required.
• Ensure soap and paper towel dispensers remain filled at all times.
• Handle general cleanup, including removing garbage and debris from all departments.
• Support weekly paint-area cleanup activities.
• Pick up litter in parking lots and around the building.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when hazards are present.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
