What You'll Do

Work Environment
This role involves being on your feet for much of the shift and working in a busy store setting. You may be exposed to changing weather when handling outdoor tasks, as well as food odors, cornmeal dust, tight work areas, and hot equipment. Store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees or higher in some parts of the store.
Physical Requirements
The job includes standing for long periods, short-distance walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, and regular lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, climbing, and reaching. You may need to lift deliveries of up to 50 pounds, stack supplies on shelves, carry trays and ingredients, and perform repeated hand and arm motions while using store tools and equipment.

Paperwork may be completed at a desk in an office setting. Work surfaces are typically 36 to 48 inches high. Deliveries may arrive more than twice a week and are handled with a hand truck.
Tasks may include moving cases of ingredients and supplies, carrying sauce containers and dough trays, pushing tray dollies, using stairs or ladders occasionally, and performing repeated reaching and bending during food assembly, stocking, cleaning, and front counter work.
Employees may also need to use pens, pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, a pizza cutter, and a pizza peel.
