About the Role
Toast builds tools that help restaurants and other local businesses operate more effectively in an increasingly digital environment. The platform is designed to support owners in running day-to-day operations, growing revenue, improving customer engagement, and keeping teams engaged.
This position is a field-based sales leadership role with local travel. You must either already live in the Atlanta, GA area or be prepared to relocate there.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit, coach, motivate, and manage a sales team that consistently meets quota.
- Train team members to run effective discovery conversations, deliver strong product demonstrations, and tailor solutions to each prospect’s needs.
- Support team performance through in-person prospecting, walk-ins, trade shows, and local partnership development to help drive quota attainment.
- Work cross-functionally with peers and adjacent teams to make sure commitments made during the sales cycle are delivered on successfully.
- Use Salesforce and related tools to improve productivity, track forecast pipelines, and evaluate conversion performance.
- Own new business growth across the assigned district.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, either in a sourcing or closing capacity.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
- A strong history of achieving results.
- The ability to motivate others with enthusiasm and conviction.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with self-direction, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
- Experience leading customer-facing, full-cycle sales teams that hit quota.
- Background in a technology company.
- Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build a strong, high-performing team culture.
Compensation and Rewards
The estimated total targeted cash compensation for this role is USD 165,000 to USD 264,000. This figure includes base pay, commission, and bonus if applicable. The role offers uncapped commission potential. Starting pay will depend on skills, experience, and location. Total rewards may also include benefits and equity, where eligible.
