Overview
An established building services contractor in Northamptonshire is looking for a Document Controller to support a live construction project on site. This position suits someone who has already worked in construction or engineering and is comfortable handling project documentation, coordination, and site administration in a fast-moving environment.
The role is based onsite in Northamptonshire and comes with a salary of £35,000 plus benefits. The successful person will be part of a strong project team and will be expected to take ownership of document control and related administrative tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of project information and ensure all records are properly managed and controlled.
- Handle day-to-day site administration and support the wider project team.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings as required.
- Keep project records organised, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
- Maintain site documentation such as plant inspection logs, induction records, and toolbox talk registers.
- Coordinate subcontractor-related administrative activities.
- Assist with the health and safety administration of the project.
- Oversee any task that requires careful filing, logging, or record keeping.
- Provide general support to the project team and line manager.
- Work with Microsoft-based systems to manage documents and site records.
Candidate Profile
