Role overview

This position focuses on end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations for a Mondelez distribution centre in Bengaluru. Warehouse operations

• Oversee the full set of warehouse activities, including inbound receipt, putaway, picking, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Unload SKUs in batches and make sure goods receipt and putaway are completed on time.
• Maintain correct batch-wise FIFO/FEFO picking and dispatch practices.
• Plan manpower requirements according to changes in workload and volume.
• Work independently while coordinating and managing a team of more than 30 staff members.
• Maintain stock accuracy and batch accuracy across operations.
• Review inventory discrepancies and close related issues promptly.
• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained in both cold storage and dry storage areas.
• Handle stock transfers between locations, including DC-to-DC movement when required.
• Support zone and location finalization together with the customer.

Customer and depot support

• Respond to customer and depot queries within expected timelines.
• Collect proof of delivery documents regularly and complete ACC collection for the previous month before the 10th of the current month.
• Track goods in transit and ensure timely GRN processing at stores and regional depots.
• Analyze complaints from stores and regional depots and resolve them within defined timelines.
• Manage customer escalations proactively with the Warehouse Manager and take corrective action to reduce complaints.
• Prepare and share reports as needed to support customer requirements.

Safety, compliance, and escalation

• Put employee and site safety ahead of all operational activities.
• Escalate any non-compliance issues to management without delay.

Regional P&L responsibilities

• Work to prevent customer debits and protect the commercial relationship.
• Reduce productivity losses in operations to support margin performance.
• Keep regional profit and loss performance aligned with budget expectations.
