Export Market Manager

Role overview

Yeo Hiap Seng (Yeo’s) is looking for an Export Market Manager to oversee distributor and retailer relationships, strengthen market performance, and coordinate commercial execution across internal and external stakeholders in Sembawang, North Region, Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain long-term, productive partnerships with external distributors and retailers.
• Deepen understanding of shoppers, product categories, and the wider market landscape.
• Take ownership of volume forecasting and plans that support business growth.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, both inside and outside the company, to deliver sales and execution plans.
• Address client issues and act as the connection point between external partners and internal teams.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in export business or consumer goods.
• Strong strategic thinking, curiosity, leadership ability, and a forward-looking mindset.
• Genuine interest in the prepared food sector, particularly Asian food and beverages.
• Solid analytical ability, with working knowledge of MS Excel and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and MidJourney.
• Fluent business-level English and Mandarin in both written and spoken communication; Cantonese will be an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to approach business challenges with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
