Role overview

Southern National Roofing is hiring a full-time Field Inspector in Gaffney, SC. This is a W-2 position with weekly pay, hourly compensation, commission, and performance bonuses. The company is urgently looking to bring someone on board and can provide paid training with a start as soon as possible.

As a Field Inspector, you will spend your time in residential neighborhoods identifying homes that may be a fit for a complimentary roof inspection and arranging appointments for the home inspection team. The job is outdoors, face-to-face, and activity-based. You will not be selling and you will not need to climb roofs, as inspections are performed from the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Cover assigned residential areas on foot.
• Approach homeowners at their residences and speak with them directly.
• Carry out simple visual checks from ground level.
• Present the company’s complimentary roof inspection offering.
• Book inspection appointments for the in-home team.
• Stay active and work outdoors throughout the day.

Schedule and work setting

This is an on-site role with no overnight travel. Team transportation is provided from the office. Availability is needed Monday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and the position requires 40 hours per week.

Compensation and benefits

Pay includes hourly wages, commission, and bonuses. Weekly earnings are stated at $770 to $1,350, and first-year earnings are described as typically ranging from $40,000 to $70,000 or more depending on performance and consistency. Requirements

Candidates should be comfortable speaking with people in person, maintain a professional presentation, and bring a positive, success-driven attitude. Strong communication ability is essential.
