About the Role
Geotab is hiring a remote Field Services Coordinator for EMEA to manage installation programs and ensure deployments meet strict technical requirements. This role supports geographically distributed European operations during an important customer migration phase.
The position involves coordinating with installation specialists, customers, sales teams, internal installers, accounting, and external vendors across Europe. You will oversee projects ranging from single-vehicle installs to large-scale rollouts involving thousands of vehicles for commercial and government clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation projects of different sizes and complexity levels while making sure customer requirements are met.
- Assign work to internal and third-party installers and establish deadlines and delivery expectations.
- Partner with customers, sales teams, and installers to confirm requirements, pricing, delivery timing, and compliance with company standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers and installers, handling issues and escalating when needed.
- Share installation instructions, guides, and other essential details with installers.
- Help troubleshoot field issues raised by installers and escalate unresolved problems.
- Ensure installers understand and use the Field Services price list and service tools correctly.
- Keep the installer network database accurate and up to date.
- Review and approve invoices and installation reports, checking that charges align with expectations.
- Work with installers to resolve billing errors and invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate with accounting so that installers are paid on time and customers are billed for on-site field services.
- Confirm that installation reports are sent to both customers and installers.
- Prepare regular Field Services status updates and reports.
- Contribute to Geotab’s broader global strategic initiatives.
What You Bring
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
We are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience handling third-party contractor relationships, solving technical issues, and working in Salesforce.
Strong professional English is required. Knowledge of other European languages, especially Polish, Portuguese, or French, is a major plus.
Applicants should have an AA/AS in a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and work experience. A diploma or degree in business administration, industrial management, or a related area is especially valued.
The role also calls for technical aptitude, comfort adapting to changing systems and growing technology demands, and experience in a technical, engineering, or high-technology environment as an advantage.
Accuracy, strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to make decisions using data are important.
You should be well organized, self-reliant, capable of working independently in a distributed setup, and able to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Work Arrangement
Candidates who are not near an office hub may work remotely. Those located near a hub will follow a hybrid schedule that requires two days per week in the office.
When working from home, employees need a reliable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. The company supports virtual work through cloud-based tools, collaboration systems, and asynchronous ways of working.
