Freelance Presentation Designer

Overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for the Tendem project to shape specialized storytelling workflows within a hybrid AI-and-human production model. In this role, you will work alongside Tendem Agents that take care of repetitive work, while you contribute strategic thinking, subject-matter expertise, and advanced formatting skills to produce polished, high-impact presentations.

This is a remote, part-time freelance opportunity suited to creative specialists with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven slide creation.

The Mindrift platform brings together experts and AI initiatives from leading technology innovators. Its purpose is to expand what Generative AI can achieve by connecting it with real-world expertise from around the world.

Role focus

As a Presentation Designer on this Tendem project, your main priority will be visual storytelling and clear hierarchy. The ideal candidate can take dense information, data, and storylines and transform them into persuasive slide decks and one-pagers that look refined and communicate with precision. You should be comfortable using PowerPoint, Keynote, and either Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Key responsibilities

• Create polished pitch decks and one-pagers tailored to the intended audience and purpose.
• Turn complex information and datasets into simple, visually structured stories with a minimalist approach and strong information hierarchy.
• Improve presentation quality through custom typography, smooth animation, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a premium style that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation design across all deliverables.
• Check every output carefully for alignment, pacing, brand consistency, and overall presentation quality before handoff.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative discipline is considered an advantage.

Strong working knowledge of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote is needed for creating complex, animated, and dynamic decks.

Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma is required for building custom graphics and layouts.

You must be able to convert complicated data and layered structures into clean, minimal visual narratives.

Excellent typography and animation capabilities are expected, including the use of custom fonts and refined motion effects for premium-quality work.

English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.

Applicants should also have practical experience producing premium, corporate-meets-creative presentation layouts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to solve design problems independently.

Your CV must include a portfolio link showing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work. Applications without a portfolio link or without relevant presentation examples will not be considered.

Project time expectations

The expected workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week during active project periods, depending on project needs. This is only an estimate and not a guaranteed number of hours, and it applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour on this project, based on experience level and pace of contribution.

Pay may differ from one project to another depending on scope, complexity, and expertise required. Other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels.
