Contract highlights

• Pay: £14.71 per hour

What the role involves

As Head Housekeeper, you will be accountable for the overall cleanliness, presentation and order of the home, helping ensure residents, visitors and staff experience a comfortable and welcoming environment every day. This is a leadership position where high standards and close attention to detail will have a direct impact on day-to-day life in the home.

You will manage the housekeeping team and oversee the cleaning of residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal spaces so that hygiene and presentation remain consistently strong. The role also involves planning daily housekeeping activity, making sure tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety, and internal housekeeping processes.

Working alongside colleagues from other departments, you will help deliver a coordinated and responsive service. You will also monitor standards, control supplies and support staff through coaching, direction and leadership to create a positive, effective team environment.
