Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Cleveleys, England. This is a full-time onsite role for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road.
The position offers an hourly pay rate of £13.71.
What the role involves
As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customer shopping and representing the company as a direct point of contact at the doorstep. The role suits someone who takes pride in service quality, safe driving, and efficient time management.
Core duties
- Load the van safely and follow correct manual handling practices, including handling heavier items where needed.
- Drive in a careful and compliant manner at all times.
- Carry out routine checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Make sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
- Deliver a friendly and professional customer experience.
- Support store operations when asked.
- Work well on your own and organise your time effectively.
- Be flexible enough to work varying shifts between 6am and 11pm.
