Role Overview
An opportunity is available in Tampa, Florida for a full-time HR Director in a direct-hire capacity. In this role, you will serve as both a champion for employees and a driver of organizational change, while leading the planning, development, execution, and review of the company’s human resources function.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the HR function at a strategic level by reviewing workforce data, turning findings into practical recommendations, sharing reports with senior leadership, and working closely with management on major business priorities and growth plans.
- Maintain adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local employment regulations, while spotting HR-related risks early and taking steps to reduce their impact on the business.
- Build and oversee learning and development programs that strengthen employee capabilities, leadership potential, career growth opportunities, and overall organizational performance.
- Lead performance management efforts by setting up review processes, coaching managers, encouraging accountability, and helping employees progress in their roles.
- Support a healthy, inclusive workplace by advising on employee relations issues, resolving concerns, promoting engagement activities, and reinforcing company values.
- Manage compensation and benefits planning, administration, and review to support competitiveness in the market, fairness across the organization, employee satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Own end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including hiring strategy, talent attraction, workforce planning, and smooth integration of new team members.
- Design, improve, and roll out HR policies, procedures, systems, and structures that align with business needs, improve efficiency, and create a consistent employee experience.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- At least 7 years of HR experience, including 3 or more years in a director or management role.
- PHR or SHRM certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is an added advantage.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills are needed.
- The role requires the ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively.
