About the role
Sea’s corporate IT function supports the company’s operations by shaping technology direction, comparing solution choices, and creating technical setups that align with business goals and day-to-day needs. In this position, you will contribute to smooth workplace technology experiences by keeping support responsive, networks dependable, and internal systems stable for employees across the organization.
Role overview
This contract role is focused on user support and daily IT operations. You will be expected to follow IT policies while resolving technical issues from both system and user perspectives, and to provide practical support in a busy, high-demand environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver everyday technical assistance to employees and help keep computers, printers, and network equipment running reliably.
- Diagnose and fix application-related issues for end users, while keeping support records and documentation current.
- Oversee IT assets, track inventory, and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
- Monitor office network systems, along with IT security tools and antivirus protection.
- Carry out first-line support for scheduled server backups, system checks, and operational reporting.
Technical requirements
- Strong working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, especially Windows and macOS.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and LAN concepts, including switching and routing basics.
- Practical exposure to Windows Server administration; familiarity with Linux server administration is an added advantage.
- Ability to work with basic setup and configuration of Cisco equipment such as firewalls, switches, IP phones, wireless controllers, and access points is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
