Role Overview

The studio is entering a new creative stage, with its aesthetic evolving and the interiors team expanding quickly. It is seeking a part-time Interior Design Assistant to support project documentation and coordinate with the Principal. Experience with Revit is preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Firm Principals and Lead Interior Designer on design development, material and finish selection, project documentation, and overall project coordination.
• Create 3D concept views, interior elevations, detailed drawings, and finish and furniture plans/specifications.
• Support the preparation of construction drawing sets alongside the Lead Interior Designer and Project Manager.
• Check samples, strike-offs, and related materials to ensure they match the specification and intended design direction.
• Record meeting notes and circulate them to team members and clients.
• Maintain productive working relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Use strong graphic presentation and visualization abilities to support design communication.
• Help keep the office orderly and answer incoming phone calls.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, or an equivalent foreign credential, plus at least 2 years of progressive experience.
• At least 2 years of computer experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
• 3ds Max knowledge is an added advantage.
• Applicants must submit work samples and meet the minimum qualifications to be considered.
