Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Labourer to join a kitchen and bathroom renewal project in the social housing sector across South-West London and Westminster. This is a self-employed contract role for someone who can support refurbishment work on site and work professionally with residents and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first person residents meet on site and introduce yourself in a polite, professional way.
- Remove around 10 kitchen units each day in a safe manner.
- Complete strip-out work for at least one kitchen and one bathroom per day.
- Lift out existing flooring where needed.
- Take down wallpaper and prepare surfaces ready for refurbishment.
- Protect appliances, staircases, and nearby areas before work begins.
- Set up site signage and information boards as required.
- Handle general labouring tasks to assist the project.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar labouring role within the social housing sector.
- A valid CSCS card.
- Asbestos Awareness Training Certificate.
