Position summary
This role sits within PNC’s Cash and Funding organization and is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position supports a high-control funding function for Equipment Finance, covering Aviation, Vendor, and Direct channels. The work centers on checking, initiating, and approving disbursement requests while following strict procedures designed to reduce operational risk. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time.
The analyst works as an individual contributor on the funding team and performs careful manual entry after confirming which documents are required to complete a deal. In this role, you may act either as the initiator, who verifies request details and enters them into the correct platform, or as the approver, who performs a final review before funding is released. Because this is considered a sensitive role, strong accuracy and judgment are essential.
PNC may allow remote work in certain approved geographic areas. If approved, work must be done from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace, and occasional in-office attendance may still be needed depending on business requirements. The employer does not provide visa sponsorship or participation in STEM OPT for this position.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a range of transactions and processes using established procedures, with possible coverage of one or more specialized products or functions.
- Process and reconcile moderately complex transactions in line with policy, while coordinating with internal and external partners to move documents, messages, and related actions through completion.
- Identify exceptions, address them when appropriate, and escalate issues that need further review.
- Confirm that all required materials and supporting records are available before transactions are completed.
- Respond to questions and ad hoc requests, carry out research, and share feedback on workflows and incoming work.
- Review transactions and supporting documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and alignment with service standards and applicable policies.
- Perform due diligence on incoming requests, prepare funding entries, and complete final verification before approving disbursement requests.
- Work across multiple systems, including LeaseWave, SharePoint, Pinacle, BMO, and Outlook Mail.

Requirements
- An associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, job-related certification, and experience is expected.

- Experience with accurate transaction processing, document review, and operational controls is important.

Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this role is $37,500 to $62,500 per year. Pay may vary depending on location, market data, and the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and education. This position is eligible for incentive pay tied to company, business, and/or individual performance.
