Deskripsi pekerjaan
About the Role
This position focuses on building and sustaining logistics systems that move materials safely, on time, and at the right cost across multi-model truck assembly, domestic parts flow, and CKD export operations. The role is centered on PFEP ownership, line feeding, route design, returnable and export packaging, master data governance, customs readiness, and continuous improvement to support takt, product mix, and global OTIF performance.
What You Will Do
- Maintain PFEP coverage for all parts and CKD components, including dimensions, weight, pack size, storage strategy, line-feeding approach, kit assignment, and export classification.
- Manage ERP, MES, WMS, and TMS master data such as storage locations, line-side IDs, kit structures, container IDs, scan points, and export HS codes.
- Ensure traceability through barcode or RFID controls and apply poka-yoke methods across production and export processes.
- Design and improve milk-run routes, route pitch, and load plans for mixed-model supply while balancing route capacity, takt time, and aisle safety.
- Select the right material flow method for each part family using kitting, Kanban, or sequencing based on takt, variant complexity, ergonomics, and risk.
- Create SOPs for receiving, decanting, supermarket replenishment, and changeover control.
- Develop returnable packaging for internal movement and export-ready packaging using wood, fiber, or steel crates with moisture and anti-corrosion protection.
- Validate dunnage and load stability for heavy or awkward components such as frames, axles, engines, and cabs.
- Optimize warehouse slotting using ABC/XYZ logic, create fast lanes for high-demand parts, and establish batch or wave pick processes.
- Build consolidation and staging areas for domestic and export flows and maintain strong scan discipline.
- Drive cycle counting, inventory accuracy, damage prevention, and visual management practices.
- Work with IT to create dashboards covering assembly OTIF, route adherence, inventory accuracy, export readiness, and demurrage or detention risk.
- Connect WMS and TMS milestones including ASN, gate-in, stuffing completion, VGM, SI/AMS filing, ETD/ETA, and POD.
- Improve logistics safety by defining aisle width, speed limits, load stability requirements, pedestrian segregation, and ergonomic standards.
- Lead Kaizen work to reduce stoppages, travel, handling, and waste across domestic and export operations.
Required Skills and Experience
You should bring practical experience in automotive, truck assembly, parts distribution, or CKD export logistics, along with exposure to SAP EWM or GTS. Strong knowledge of PFEP, kitting, sequencing, route pitch, cube optimization, export packaging, and load securement is important. Familiarity with HS classification, Incoterms, export documentation, VGM/SOLAS, and broker or forwarder coordination is also expected. The role calls for hands-on understanding of SAP, Oracle, or Infor modules, MES/WMS/TMS tools, barcode and RFID systems, and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau. Lean methods, VSM, 5S, A3/8D, MTM, and logistics-focused SMED are part of the work, along with layout tools like AutoCAD or Visio, Excel/Power Query, and basic simulation. Strong cross-functional leadership, vendor and 3PL coordination, documentation discipline, and analytical problem-solving are essential.
Qualifications
A B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Supply Chain, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Experience
The expected background is 2 to 5 years in logistics for automotive or truck assembly, parts distribution, or CKD export programs.
Preferred Certifications
Lean or Six Sigma, MTM, and ergonomics certifications are preferred. Awareness of IATA and IMDG standards is a plus.
