Role overview
Everlast Gyms is looking for a Membership Experience Host to be the welcoming point of contact for members and visitors at the club in Nottingham. This is a front-of-house, member-focused role that blends customer service with sales support, retention activity, club operations, and general administrative duties. You will help create a positive first impression, support the member journey, and contribute to a high-quality gym experience.
Key duties
- Greet members and guests warmly and make sure every interaction is professional and positive.
- Support membership growth and retention by offering helpful guidance and strong service.
- Promote in-club products and services to help achieve secondary spend targets.
- Keep the club clean and hygienic to a consistently high standard.
- Act as a responsible key holder, including opening and closing the club when required.
- Carry out everyday administrative tasks, including working with the membership software platform.
- Stay up to date with fitness challenges, classes, and gym floor priorities, and participate where appropriate to help engagement.
- Assist the Fitness Manager and wider team with gym floor activities and club initiatives.
- Deal with member questions, comments, and complaints in a calm, professional manner and escalate issues when necessary.
- Use the products and services yourself so you can confidently recommend them to members.

The role suits someone who is comfortable with administration, motivated by sales and targets, and able to adapt to changing shifts and operational responsibilities. A real interest in fitness and a willingness to keep learning are important, along with the ambition to build your career.
