About the role
Join a centrally located five-star hotel on Wellington’s waterfront, where the focus is on delivering a memorable stay for every guest through outstanding service and attention to detail.
Your day-to-day
As Night Audit, you will support several teams, including front office and room service, to create a smooth and highly personalised guest experience during the overnight shift.
Key responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, including room allocation and seamless check-in and check-out handling.
- Prepare and review operational reports and reconcile hotel financial records.
- Make sure room service requests are completed and delivered promptly.
- Respond to guest questions and special requests, including phone enquiries, luggage coordination, transport arrangements, and related support.
What you need
- A strong commitment to creating excellent guest experiences.
- Comfort using hotel systems such as Opera, along with Microsoft Office tools.
- Previous exposure to a luxury hotel setting is an advantage.
- Careful attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and figures.
- Availability to work overnight hours from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am across varying days of the week.
