Night Auditor

About the role

Adare Manor is seeking a Night Auditor to join its Front Office team in Adare, County Limerick. The resort describes its mission as creating exceptional, memorable experiences for both guests and employees, and it is recognized internationally for its luxury standards, including being named the #1 Resort in Europe by Condé Nast Traveler for three years in a row, receiving a Forbes Five-Star rating, and holding Michelin’s highest 3 Key distinction. This position works with the existing Night Team to keep the front desk running smoothly overnight and to prepare the resort for the next day. The role reports to the Night Manager and requires accurate handling of guest, operational, and financial processes while delivering consistently high levels of service.

It is well suited to a detail-focused hospitality professional who enjoys working overnight in a luxury environment and contributing as part of a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide every guest with a courteous, polished, and personalised welcome during the night shift.
• Handle overnight arrivals, departures, and guest requests in line with resort standards.
• Carry out the nightly audit accurately, ensuring all financial activity and reporting is correct.
• Reconcile daily income and departmental balances.
• Prepare and circulate daily operational and management reports.
• Keep all systems and records current and accurate.
• Help protect the safety and security of guests, team members, and the property throughout the night.
• Answer guest questions quickly and professionally, and resolve issues as they come up.
• Assist other departments across the resort when needed overnight.
• Make sure the Front Office is organised and ready for the morning team.
• Maintain a consistently professional appearance, strong presentation, and careful attention to detail.

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for someone with prior experience in Front Office, Reception, Night Audit, or Hotel Operations. Experience in luxury hospitality would be an added advantage. The ideal applicant should be confident with numbers, highly accurate, and strong in analysis and detail.

Good communication and people skills are important, along with a warm, approachable, and professional manner. The role also calls for strong organisation, time management, the ability to work independently, sound judgement, and a proactive focus on guest service.

Applicants must be comfortable working overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office is required.
