Role overview

Boots Ireland is looking for a No7 Advisor to represent the No7 brand in Limerick, helping customers feel confident through tailored beauty and skincare guidance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service, product knowledge, and hands-on beauty advice in a premium retail setting.

No7 has spent more than 90 years developing science-backed skincare and beauty solutions designed to deliver trusted results. As part of this team, you will support customers at every stage of their skincare and beauty journey while contributing to a welcoming, expert-led counter experience.

What the role involves

You will work with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable skincare and makeup products, and explain product benefits in a clear, approachable way. The role also includes helping to maintain a polished counter, supporting sales goals, and building long-term customer loyalty through strong service and product confidence.

Key duties

• Take part in the 12-month Skin School training programme and work toward a CIBTAC qualification recognised in the beauty industry.
• Provide tailored skincare and beauty consultations using tools and technology available at the counter.
• Explain the science and ingredients behind No7 products in a simple, customer-friendly way.
• Offer makeup support such as shade matching, product demos, and routine recommendations.
• Help achieve sales targets by promoting offers, launches, and new product ranges.
• Create lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
• Collaborate closely with the wider Boots team to deliver strong service and commercial outcomes.
• Keep the No7 counter visually appealing, well stocked, and aligned with the brand’s premium yet accessible image.

What you need

To succeed in this role, you should genuinely enjoy skincare and makeup, feel comfortable engaging customers, and be confident discussing and applying products. Strong communication, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to keep learning about trends and innovations are essential.

You should also be motivated by sales targets, able to make customers feel at ease, and proud to represent No7 as a brand ambassador.

Good to have

Previous experience working directly with customers would be an advantage, as would hands-on experience applying skincare or beauty products on others.

Development and growth

Boots Ireland and No7 offer structured learning, including training in skin biology, ingredients, and makeup techniques. Career progression may lead to roles such as Counter Manager or Assistant Manager, along with other beauty-related opportunities across Boots and the wider No7 Beauty Company.

Experienced, high-performing advisors may also be considered for a 6-month development programme designed to build confidence, strengthen skills, and support future leadership growth. Completion of this programme does not guarantee promotion, but it is intended to prepare participants for wider responsibility.
