Role Overview

The Presales Manager will work with sales, product, implementation, marketing, value management, and engineering teams to help prospects understand how Darwinbox can solve their HR transformation needs. This role is centered on discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concept execution, and creating strong business value narratives that support enterprise sales cycles.

What You Will Do

  • Run discovery sessions with users to capture and document business needs, operating processes, procedures, and day-to-day work practices.
  • Analyze complex enterprise requirements and design solutions using Darwinbox capabilities to strengthen the sales pitch and help win functional evaluations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to shape compelling value propositions and customer messaging.
  • Translate Darwinbox’s offerings into practical solutions for customers, implementation partners, and internal teams through process flows, context diagrams, functional or technical write-ups, recordings, and demonstrations.
  • Own functional and implementation responses for RFPs, partnering with bid management and value teams to prepare solution summaries, implementation plans, value-added services, and support models aligned to customer goals.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive product demonstrations that showcase business value and meet customer expectations during evaluations.
  • Drive large, multi-module enterprise proof-of-concepts, including setup coordination, collateral development, workshop execution, testing reconciliation, reporting, and final summary preparation.
  • Collaborate across teams to secure functional wins against competitors throughout the sales process.
  • Develop business value cases together with prospects and internal value management teams.
  • Build expertise in targeted industries and tailor the solution narrative to those sectors.
  • Create trusted advisory relationships with decision-makers and key influencers involved in the buying process.
  • Research and articulate Darwinbox’s advantages over legacy ERP platforms and other SaaS alternatives.
  • Continue building expertise through the learning opportunities provided by the company.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings 10 to 15 years of experience in HCM consulting, presales, or implementation. An MBA or PGDM in HR is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. The role calls for strong value-based selling capability in an HCM consulting environment, along with sharp problem-solving, critical thinking, and solution design skills. Candidates should be comfortable engaging with C-level executives and business leaders, identifying pain points, and translating them into practical recommendations. Experience in preparing HCM implementation plans is expected. Familiarity with Microsoft Projects (MPP) is considered a plus, and prior project management or consulting exposure will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
