Private Equity Associate

Overview

A well-established growth-oriented investment firm with assets in the multi-billion-dollar range is seeking an Associate for its investment team. The organization focuses on backing fast-growing technology companies, including businesses in software, fintech, and technology-enabled services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and help execute investment deals within the technology space.
• Create robust financial models such as LBOs, operating models, and return analyses to guide investment decisions.
• Carry out commercial, financial, and operational due diligence, supported by market and competitive research.
• Contribute to transaction structuring and negotiation.
• Work with portfolio companies on performance monitoring, strategic projects, and initiatives that drive value creation.
• Draft investment memoranda and communicate key findings to senior leadership and the investment committee.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking or on the buy side.
• Background exposure to technology-related work is required.
• Strong capability in financial modelling and quantitative analysis.
• Clear interest in technology investing and private markets.
• Hands-on experience with live transactions and due diligence coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
