Role overview
Infinitesima is hiring a Product Manager to help shape the future of advanced AFM-based metrology solutions for semiconductor applications. In this position, you will sit at the meeting point of customer needs, market intelligence, and engineering input, turning complex technical challenges into a product direction that is commercially strong and technically credible.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys building products that advance technology and creating clear market-facing stories that help technical innovation succeed commercially.
Compensation and benefits
The salary for this position is £65,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for defining the product direction and producing the materials needed to position products effectively with both technical and commercial audiences.
- Create and refine the product roadmap using customer feedback and market trends
- Work closely with engineering to influence product features and technical priorities
- Meet customers directly to understand their use cases and convert them into structured product requirements
- Review competitor activity and position Infinitesima’s products clearly in the market
- Support sales teams with technical guidance, proposals, and customer-ready collateral
- Assess opportunities and prioritise work to deliver the greatest strategic and commercial value
- Oversee the product lifecycle from early concept through to end of life
- Develop sales materials, presentations, brochures, and go-to-market plans that communicate product value effectively
Candidate profile
Infinitesima is looking for someone with a background in applications, product management, or technical sales, ideally within semiconductor, AFM, or related scientific instrumentation sectors.
- Experience in product management, applications, or technical sales in semiconductor, AFM, or comparable scientific instrumentation
- Exposure to AFM, nanoscale measurement, semiconductor metrology, or advanced instrumentation markets
- Experience building and owning product roadmaps in a commercial setting
- Ability to turn customer needs into clear, organised product requirements
- Comfort working across engineering, sales, and operations teams
- Strong communication skills for building trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capability to analyse data and market information to support product decisions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quickly
- Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy or pricing is desirable
Education
A degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related subject is expected.
