Role overview

An opportunity is available for a Production Worker to join a fibreglass pipe manufacturing operation in Lonsdale, South Australia. The facility produces Flowtite GRP fibreglass pipe systems and supports civil and residential water and waste pipe applications for customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Pay and roster

• Hourly rate: $32.32
• Workdays: Tuesday to Friday
• Day shift: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm to 12:00 am
• Night shift: 6:00 pm to 4:00 am
• Shift loading/allowances are available for afternoon and night shifts
• This role follows a four-day working week, giving you a three-day weekend

About the employer and site

The client operates a manufacturing facility that has built a strong local workforce and works with regional partners to contribute to growth in South Australia. The site has produced more than 1,500 km of pipe for major infrastructure projects and supplies both Australian and New Zealand markets.

Key duties

You will be involved in operating machinery and supporting production activities in the manufacture of fibreglass water and wastewater pipes for civil and residential use.

What you need

To be successful, you should have hands-on production experience, be comfortable using machinery and tooling, and hold a current driver’s licence along with the legal right to work in Australia. A forklift licence would be an advantage, though it is not essential.
