Overview

Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with a prominent multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer that is in the middle of a significant multi-million-euro expansion at its Athlone site. The business is looking for an experienced engineering support professional to join the team and contribute to project and financial control activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver administrative, organisational, and special project support to the Engineering function.
  • Create and oversee purchase orders and payments, while helping strengthen financial discipline within the Engineering team.
  • Serve as the department’s key functional representative for goods receipting of supplies and services.
  • Monitor capital expenditure and transactions, support investment processes, and promote strong project management practices and teamwork across Engineering.
  • Assist the site projects team with project controls and governance linked to investment initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for KPI dashboards.
  • Support the preparation of budget submissions across the relevant budgeting cycles.
  • Compile monthly accrual files for Finance.
  • Act as the main contact for procurement and finance audit-related queries.
  • Prepare legal agreements and contracts to support the Engineering group.
  • Carry out any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
