Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Manager position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role focuses on overseeing property lease matters, handling lease administration, managing real estate activity, and supporting strategy for retail property acquisitions.
Key Duties
- Manage lease portfolios and keep property agreements organized and current.
- Handle lease administration work, including tracking terms, obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Support and coordinate real estate transactions related to the company’s retail footprint.
- Develop and contribute to strategies for acquiring retail properties.
- Lead lease renewal discussions and negotiate favorable terms.
- Maintain strong working relationships with landlords and other property partners.
- Ensure all commercial real estate agreements are followed and meet contractual requirements.
Qualifications
- Background in property management, particularly with retail or commercial properties.
- Hands-on experience with lease administration and monitoring compliance.
- Strong understanding of lease agreements and the ability to negotiate and finalize them effectively.
- Working knowledge of commercial real estate processes and transaction handling.
- Clear communication, strong negotiation ability, and excellent organizational skills.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in retail businesses or family-owned organizations is an added advantage.
