Role overview
This position is based at CHANEL’s Toronto Head Office and reports to the Retail Operations Manager. It is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for 6 months, supporting operational programs and priorities across CHANEL Canada boutiques.
In this role, you will work closely with boutique teams, retail leadership, and corporate partners to help drive consistent execution, improve processes, and strengthen the overall boutique experience.
Retail operations and change support
- Assist with day-to-day retail operations initiatives.
- Work with boutique teams to spot opportunities to streamline and improve how operations run.
- Help manage change initiatives by supporting stakeholder engagement, communications, and training so new processes, tools, and standards are adopted smoothly.
- Serve as a connection point between boutiques and head office, helping local concerns surface while sharing effective practices across the network.
Retail excellence and execution
- Help maintain both new and existing operating processes while keeping boutiques aligned with standards.
- Contribute to solutions that improve efficiency in both customer-facing and back-of-house operations.
- Take part in boutique operational activities, launches, inventory-related work, asset protection, and compliance projects, with a strong focus on accuracy and awareness.
- Track the implementation of new and existing technologies, systems, and tools that support better boutique performance.
Strategy and innovation
- Work with boutique leadership to put in place approaches that reduce risk, manage costs, and improve the customer and employee experience.
- Encourage fresh thinking by supporting pilot ideas, practical innovation, and broader knowledge sharing.
Leadership, communication, and collaboration
- Plan and run regular project check-ins, workshops, and feedback discussions to keep work moving and ensure alignment.
- Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and a constructive approach to change.
- Share progress, updates, and results clearly and promptly with all relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with the Retail Operations Manager and other leaders to coordinate efforts and exchange resources.
- Represent and reinforce CHANEL’s values, standards, and expectations throughout project work.

Candidate profile
You should bring 2 to 4 years of boutique operations experience. Experience with RFID, point-of-sale systems, Coupa, and Microsoft 365 is considered an advantage. You’ll need to be comfortable with technology, proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software, and able to communicate and build relationships effectively.
