About the Company
Safetykleen is a global business with five decades of experience operating in 15 countries. It supports organisations worldwide with parts-cleaning solutions designed to improve safety, reduce environmental impact, and help businesses run more responsibly. The company’s culture is built around respect, teamwork, and the belief that every person contributes to its mission.
The role sits within a high-energy UK contact centre where performance, collaboration, and customer engagement are central. The business places strong emphasis on progression, recognition, and a positive team environment.
Role Overview
This position is for an MCC Booking Specialist who will act as a key driver of the sales pipeline by converting leads into qualified meetings for the sales team. The role involves speaking with inbound and outbound prospects, assessing whether opportunities are commercially worthwhile, and arranging strong appointments for Parts Cleaning Experts and Account Managers.
With substantial marketing activity generating quality digital leads, the role requires someone who can work quickly, use structured messaging, and rely on CRM data and scripts to turn interest into booked opportunities.
Key Duties
- Handle inbound website, marketing, and live chat enquiries and move them toward booked appointments.
- Use structured research and qualification methods to confirm commercial potential.
- Adapt scripted conversations to suit different industries and customer profiles.
- Book high-quality meetings for the field sales team.
- Reach out to selected prospects that fit the ideal customer profile.
- Deliver the company’s value proposition clearly and confidently.
- Overcome objections and influence decision-makers.
- Identify genuine business needs such as compliance, cost reduction, safety, and efficiency.
- Make sure the next step is clearly agreed and recorded.
- Log activity accurately in real time on the same day.
- Maintain clean and reliable pipeline records.
- Use AI tools as part of the workflow where required.
- Avoid leaving incomplete or unworked leads.
- Follow up consistently and in an organised way.
What Success Looks Like
- Meeting appointment and conversion targets on a consistent basis.
- Generating booked meetings that convert effectively further down the sales process.
- Keeping CRM records accurate and compliant with process expectations.
- Receiving positive feedback from business development colleagues.
About You
You should be commercially minded, well organised, and comfortable working to targets in a busy environment. Experience in B2B appointment setting, telesales, contact centre sales, lead generation, or pipeline development would be relevant.
More importantly, you should be someone who stays composed under pressure, handles objections well, learns quickly, and is open to coaching and continuous improvement.
Growth and Progression
High performers can move into senior MCC or lead conversion roles, progress into the Business Development pathway, or grow into sales leadership positions. Advancement is based on results rather than length of service.
Pay and Benefits
- Annual salary of £28,000 with on-target earnings of £35,000.
- Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work.
- Hybrid working arrangement: four days in the Dinnington office and one optional work-from-home day.
- Healthcare cover from day one.
- 5% pension contribution and 3x life assurance.
- 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
- Recognition programmes, prizes, and team events.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity support.
- Wellbeing support including EAP, Gymflex, discounts, and cycle-to-work benefits.
- Free parking.
- Clear pathways for career progression.
