Role overview
Join a rapidly expanding fintech business in New York City that is backed by venture capital and has built a reputation for strong product-market fit and fast revenue growth. This role is designed for someone who wants ownership, high expectations, and a direct link between effort and revenue.
This is not a meeting-setting role. The person in this seat is expected to prospect aggressively, create qualified pipeline, conduct discovery, and help move deals forward alongside a high-performing sales team.
What the role involves
- Take full ownership of your territory and manage your own outbound motion.
- Drive pipeline creation rather than focusing on activity for its own sake.
- Run discovery conversations and advance qualified opportunities.
- Work closely with an experienced NYC-based sales team.
- Use cold calls, emails, texts, and other outbound methods to open conversations.
- Consistently convert outreach into qualified opportunities and revenue impact.

You will be joining one of New York City’s fastest-growing fintech companies, known as a top-tier player in its segment. The business has been operating for more than four years, is led by strong leadership, and is seeing intense buyer demand. The sales environment is built for speed, with enriched data, direct dials, a clear ideal customer profile, and strong messaging already in place.
Candidate profile
- You have at least 12 months of outbound SDR experience.
- You have worked in a startup or another high-performance sales environment.
- You are comfortable making 150+ calls each day.
- You understand how to turn cold outreach into real opportunities.
- You prefer accountability and autonomy over micromanagement.
Compensation and benefits
The package includes a base salary of $80,000 to $125,000 and total on-target earnings of $250,000+ with a 50/50 split. Commission is uncapped, so earnings are not capped. Equity is also included in the package. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage.
Interview process
The hiring process has three stages and is designed to move quickly, with the offer process typically completing within 3 to 5 days.
