About the company
Soar is a fintech startup with a global outlook, focused on financing and investment. Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, the company is expanding across the region with a platform built to help people reach their financial goals through modern property investment and financial tools delivered in a simple, seamless experience.
Role overview
The Senior Product Manager will shape, prioritize, and deliver the enterprise systems, core platforms, and integrations that support secure, compliant, and scalable fintech products. This person will own shared capabilities and operational platforms end to end, including third-party integrations, CRM, customer support tools, admin portals, and data platforms used by several product and business teams.
This is a senior-impact position that calls for sound judgment in regulated environments, strong influence without direct authority, and a clear understanding of how platform choices affect customer experience, operational performance, and compliance posture.
Platform and internal systems strategy
- Set the long-term direction for internal systems and platform capabilities in line with business growth and regulatory needs.
- Establish platform standards and principles such as API-first design, reuse-focused development, audit readiness, and security by default.
- Identify gaps in the platform structure early and lead efforts that improve scale, reliability, and operational resilience.
Third-party integrations
- Take ownership of complex external integrations, including identity and verification providers, credit bureaus, risk data services, banking and payments partners, financing partners, and government or regulatory systems.
- Define consistent integration patterns and governance across vendors.
- Set requirements for SLAs, monitoring, incident response, version control, migration, and deprecation.
- Work with procurement, legal, and engineering teams on partner evaluation and onboarding.
CRM, support, and case management
- Direct the product roadmap for CRM and customer support platforms that handle lifecycle management, disputes, escalations, and case resolution.
- Support compliance workflows such as KYC and AML reviews, investigations, and related case handling.
- Build tight connections between CRM, support tools, and core fintech systems.
- Improve operational flows to cut manual work and shorten resolution timelines.
Admin portals and operational tooling
- Lead the product direction for admin portals and internal dashboards used by operations, risk and compliance, customer support, finance, and reconciliation teams.
- Ensure tools include role-based access, audit trails, secure approvals, and exception handling.
- Support high-volume operations with interfaces that remain usable and efficient.
- Balance operational flexibility with strong governance and control mechanisms.
Risk, compliance, and regulatory leadership
- Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and InfoSec stakeholders at a senior level.
- Convert regulatory obligations into scalable platform features rather than one-off manual processes.
- Ensure platform and operations systems are designed for audit readiness, full traceability, and reporting.
- Drive product responses to audit findings, regulatory issues, and remediation work.
Roadmap ownership and cross-team alignment
- Own and communicate a multi-quarter roadmap for the platform, balancing regulatory commitments, operational efficiency, scalability, and product enablement.
- Lead prioritization decisions that reflect company-wide impact and long-term platform health.
- Coordinate dependencies across product squads and business functions.
Execution, quality, and resilience
- Work with engineering leadership to define and uphold expectations for availability, performance, and security.
- Set business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
- Support safe releases through staged rollout approaches, monitoring, and incident management discipline.
Metrics and continuous improvement
- Define and manage senior-level platform metrics, including adoption and reuse, integration reliability, failure rates, operational gains, and reduction in manual or high-risk workflows.
- Use incident data, audit outcomes, and performance signals to keep improving the platform.
Required experience and background
- At least 8 years of product management experience, with substantial ownership of platform or internal products in fintech or similarly regulated sectors.
- Hands-on experience leading large-scale third-party integrations, CRM and support systems, and admin or operational tooling.
- Strong knowledge of financial transaction flows, risk controls, APIs, distributed systems, integration design, and regulatory areas such as KYC, AML, and data privacy.
- Proven success influencing cross-functional teams in complex environments.
Preferred background
- Experience in a Senior Platform PM or Technical PM role.
- Exposure to lending, mortgages, payments, or identity platforms.
- Direct interaction with regulators, auditors, or compliance review processes.
- Familiarity with cloud security, access management, and observability.
- Experience mentoring junior product managers or helping define product standards.
