Senior Software Architect (m/f/d)

They are looking for a Senior Software Architect to expand the architecture capability and drive key system design efforts.

What you'll do

• Shape and continuously improve the architecture of complex, large-scale financial platforms so they stay aligned with business objectives and platform needs.
• Work closely with engineering teams, project leads, and other stakeholders to steer implementation choices and technical direction.
• Assess technologies and conduct research aimed at improving reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Take part in code reviews and help define strong coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Create, update, and manage architecture documentation, reusable patterns, and guidance for development teams.
• Keep current with architecture frameworks, design patterns, and new technologies relevant to financial systems.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline; further study in system architecture or design is a plus.
• At least 8 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in architecture-related or architecture leadership work.
• Solid knowledge of architectural design principles, scalability, high availability, and secure engineering practices.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud concepts, microservices, and modern development approaches.
• Understanding of distributed systems, DevOps practices, and containerization methods.
• Familiarity with financial systems, fintech platforms, and secure coding in regulated environments.
