Role overview
We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator to help plan, coordinate, and execute day-to-day supply chain and logistics activities. The position focuses on keeping the movement of goods, materials, and information efficient, accurate, timely, and cost-conscious.
What you will do
- Coordinate routine logistics activities such as shipment follow-up, inventory checks, order handling, and communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor shipment progress, manage delivery timelines, and keep logistics records updated.
- Help maintain accurate inventory documentation and support timely resolution of logistics issues.
- Work with procurement, warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to keep supply chain operations running smoothly from purchase to delivery.
- Track supply chain performance, spot delays or inefficiencies, and support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Assist in preparing logistics reports, reviewing supply chain data, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and operating standards.
- Support import/export paperwork, vendor coordination, demand planning, logistics system updates, and cost-optimization activities as needed.
What we are looking for
- Strong grasp of supply chain, logistics, or operations management fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, procurement workflows, and distribution processes.
- Ability to manage shipments, deliveries, and scheduling with accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on correctness.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and other business or logistics tools.
- Capability to maintain records, databases, and tracking systems.
- Clear communication and coordination skills for dealing with both internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Understanding of transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment operations.
- Exposure to logistics software or ERP platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Adaptable mindset, willingness to learn industry practices, and a responsible professional attitude.
