Role Overview
This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner employer that handles the application review and next steps. The hiring company is seeking a Training Program Manager in the United States to lead and grow a learning function that serves both internal staff and external clients.
The role focuses on creating a scalable learning environment that turns complex software, workflows, and operating processes into practical, engaging training experiences. You will act as both a planner and an executor, shaping the training strategy, deciding which learning initiatives matter most, and keeping materials aligned with evolving products and business priorities.
You will work closely with subject matter experts, leaders, and cross-functional partners to build effective learning journeys. Success in this role also means defining the right measures, using feedback and performance data to improve programs continuously. This is a cross-functional, high-impact position for someone who values structure, clarity, and ongoing improvement in a fast-moving SaaS setting.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and continuously improve the full training ecosystem for internal teams and client-facing users, making sure programs stay useful, timely, and aligned with company needs.
- Set and maintain the training roadmap by ranking initiatives according to business priorities, learner demands, and organizational impact.
- Develop and manage a clear training catalog that explains available programs, upcoming content, and how learners can access training.
- Spot learning gaps across teams and clients, handle incoming requests, and work with stakeholders to agree on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines.
- Create, develop, and deliver learning programs based on adult learning methods, including onboarding, product education, implementation assistance, and train-the-trainer approaches.
- Partner with subject matter experts to turn technical and operational knowledge into well-structured, easy-to-follow learning content.
- Measure training impact through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, then refine the learning experience to improve results and engagement.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, learning and development, or a related role in software or other complex operational environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of, or significant contribution to, a training program or curriculum used by multiple audiences, products, or systems.
- Solid grasp of adult learning theory and how to apply it in instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms such as TalentLMS or similar systems, along with familiarity with e-learning tools and content authoring software.
- Ability to assess training impact using data and feedback, then apply those insights to improve program design and delivery.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical topics for different types of learners.
- Well-developed organization and project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfort working with subject matter experts and stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience improving or scaling an existing learning program will be considered a strong advantage.
Benefits and Additional Details
- Annual salary range of $75,000 to $110,000.
- Fully remote arrangement with flexibility across time zones.
- Chance to design and expand meaningful training programs for both internal users and clients.
- Exposure to sophisticated SaaS products used in public sector and government-adjacent environments.
- Collaborative environment that values shared knowledge and continuous improvement.
- Travel requirements of 10% to 15% for client training sessions and annual company events.
- Access to modern tools and a technology-enabled workplace.
