This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to start or progress a career in warehousing. Based in Wangara, the Warehouse Coordinator will help with day-to-day warehouse activity, mainly around incoming goods and, when required, outgoing dispatch tasks. The position is focused on safe, precise, and efficient materials handling while working with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to support strong customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, verifying, storing, and distributing materials.
• Support outbound work such as picking, packing, and preparing shipments when needed.
• Move, load, and unload materials safely across the warehouse and related areas.
• Assist with inventory control through cycle counts, stocktakes, and routine record maintenance.
• Update receipting, dispatch, and stock movement information using warehouse systems and tools.
• Partner with internal teams including customer service, engineering, and operations to keep work flowing smoothly.
• Liaise with couriers and logistics providers to help meet delivery timelines.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, well organised, and compliant with Emerson standards.
• Adhere to transport, materials-handling, and safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts or other equipment when trained and authorised to do so.
• Show a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental practices.

Requirements

• Some background in warehousing, logistics, or a similar setting, including entry-level or transferable experience.
• Willingness to learn warehouse routines such as receiving, dispatch, and inventory handling.
• A valid forklift licence, or the willingness to obtain one.
• Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A clear commitment to working safely.
• Capability to perform the physical duties of the job and use the required safety equipment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in warehousing, logistics, or distribution.
• Exposure to warehouse or inventory systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of shipping or transport workflows.
• Any extra licences or training relevant to warehouse work.
• Experience dealing with logistics or transport providers.
