Role overview
We are hiring a Warehouse Engineer to oversee and improve warehouse and material-handling activities. This position focuses on the full flow of materials, including receiving, storage, release, inventory control, and the upkeep of reliable warehouse processes. The role also contributes to SAP S/4HANA migration work and user acceptance testing so that warehouse operations stay aligned with business and operational needs.
The position is based at 990 Bendemeer Road, Singapore, and offers a salary of SGD 3,340. It requires more than three years of relevant experience and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming material receipts, handle day-to-day receiving issues, and make sure inbound shipments are closed on time.
- Build and maintain SOPs, workflow documents, and process records for warehouse operations.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to fix mismatches such as shortages, damages, or other receipt-related issues.
- Lead efforts to standardize warehouse procedures and improve operational efficiency.
- Handle core warehouse activities such as storage, issue of materials, and inventory control.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle count compliance.
- Monitor and reinforce FEFO practices.
- Ensure warehouse activities follow safety rules, cold-chain requirements, and intellectual property protection controls.
- Carry out warehouse audits and identify opportunities for better performance.
- Explore and implement automation and AI-based improvements where they can enhance operations.
- Partner with IT, business analysts, solution architects, and system integrators on workshops, migration reviews, and readiness activities for go-live.
- Support cutover planning and business readiness checks before deployment.
- Schedule testing in a way that does not interrupt warehouse operations.
- Identify operational risks and training gaps, and help prepare workarounds and SOP updates ahead of go-live.
- Work with stakeholders to keep inventory levels at an optimal range.
- Spot cost-saving opportunities through automation, supplier coordination, and better resource use.
- Drive ongoing improvement initiatives that raise productivity and lower operating costs.
Required experience and skills
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, or SAP-based warehouse processes.
- Prior exposure to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing and process validation is required.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance expectations.
- Ability to work with process maps, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Comfort with data analysis and operational reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Capacity to perform well in a fast-moving operational environment.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM.
Additional information
This role supports warehouse process stewardship during an SAP S/4HANA migration, including UAT participation, migration reviews, cutover preparation, and readiness validation. The selected candidate is expected to help maintain business continuity during testing and deployment activities while keeping warehouse operations stable.
