In this sales internship, you will support business growth by connecting with customers, promoting educational products and solutions, and helping the company strengthen its market presence. The role involves direct client interaction, relationship management, market outreach, and coordination with sales and marketing teams.
What you'll do
- Develop and nurture relationships with both prospective and existing customers in assigned territories.
- Present products and services to clients through meetings, demonstrations, and other direct sales interactions.
- Represent the company at book fairs, education events, conferences, and exhibitions to support lead generation.
- Reach out to new prospects and expand the customer base through regular engagement.
- Work toward sales goals and help drive overall business growth.
- Address customer queries, share relevant product details, and handle concerns professionally.
- Keep track of market developments, competitors, educational offerings, and new product introductions.
- Submit regular sales updates, reports, and performance summaries to the reporting manager.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, and selling strategies.
- Take part in training sessions to build stronger product knowledge and selling skills.
- Update customer data, lead details, and sales progress using CRM tools.
- Promote digital learning resources, edtech offerings, and related educational solutions.
- Study market opportunities and explore possible institutional partnerships.
- Travel within assigned areas as needed to meet clients and support business development work.
Eligibility and requirements
This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, begin between 24 June 2026 and 29 July 2026, and commit to a 6-month internship. Applicants should have relevant interest and skills for the role.
Preferred candidates include those pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's degree or MBA. Freshers and candidates with up to 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles may also apply. Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time-management abilities are important. Comfort with independent work as well as team collaboration is expected. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is an advantage. Knowledge of publishing, education, or EdTech will be helpful. Candidates should also be willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours when required.
Compensation and benefits
The stipend offered for this internship is INR 15,000 to 30,000 per month. A certificate will be provided as an additional perk.
