About the role
Pizza Wolke is looking for a hands-on accountant who brings structure, keeps cash flow under control, and helps push automation forward. The role is intended for someone who wants to build a strong financial foundation for the company’s next stage of growth and handle numbers with the same precision that defines the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for coordination with internal teams, external partners, and the tax office.
- Take full ownership of ongoing accounts processing, including invoicing, dunning, and credit notes for production and gastronomy operations.
- Prepare payroll accounting and serve as the direct interface to the external payroll and tax service provider.
- Monitor existing finance workflows and continuously improve them while driving automation.
- Prepare data that supports key business decisions and create forecasts as well as licensing statements for third parties.
- Record accruals and work closely with the tax office on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing preparations.
What we are looking for
- A completed qualification in accounting or finance, for example as a tax clerk, certified accountant, or balance-sheet accountant, ideally with formal authorization to post entries independently.
- At least 3 to 5 years of solid experience in financial accounting and payroll accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience with common and modern finance software.
- Exceptional accuracy, discretion, and reliability.
- A proactive, solution-focused working style and the ability to stay composed in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Fluent German and good English for communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The capability to post transactions independently, fully responsibly, and in compliance with legal requirements rather than acting only in a support role.
